Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS) will conduct summer programming for elementary and middle schools over the next two weeks, July 17-20 and 24-27. Programs will be offered at Accident, Broad Ford (also serving Yough Glades students), Crellin, Friendsville, Grantsville, and Route 40 Elementary Schools; Swan Meadow School; and Northern and Southern Garrett Middle Schools. Transportation will be provided. They are scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. each day, with the possibility of tiered times due to shared transportation.
It is important to note that school buses will be on the roads picking up and dropping off students daily. Please be alert for buses and prepared to stop if signals are flashing. All laws about stopping school buses also pertain during this time of year.
