Garrett County Public Schools 5th-Grade Students Participate in Career Day at Deep Creek Lake, MD

The community support of career day was overwhelming. Thirty-five volunteers representing twenty-four different occupations generously gave their time to share their chosen careers with a total of 268 fifth-grade students from every elementary school in Garrett County. GCPS wishes to thank the elementary school counselors, the fifth-grade teachers, and career coaches for helping to organize this event, Garrett College for the use of their facilities, and the following community volunteers:
