Beginning today Monday, November 2, the Garrett County Health Department’s Grantsville office will expand its hours of operation, providing residents with greater access to Health Department services close to home.
The new Grantsville office is located at 104 Parkview Drive, Grantsville, Maryland 21536.
Expanded office hours include:
● Monday through Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
● Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
● Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Most Health Department services are available at the Grantsville office on most days. Residents may also make bill payments at this location.
“Expanding the hours at our Grantsville office is another way we can make it easier for residents to access the services they need closer to home,” said Jennifer Hare, Health Officer for Garrett County. “Access to healthcare continues to be a top priority for our community, and we are committed to finding practical ways to reduce barriers and make our services as convenient and accessible as possible.”
The expanded hours are designed to make Health Department services more convenient and accessible for residents in the Grantsville area and in Northern Garrett County.
This effort reflects the Garrett County Health Department’s continued commitment to addressing Access to Healthcare, identified as the top community health priority in the 2025-2027 Garrett County Community Health Needs Assessment.
