Garrett County Forestry Board Poster Contest Winners 1st Place - Kylie Foley at Deep Creek Lake, MD

1st Place – Kylie Foley Yough Glades Elementary

The results are in! Thank you to all the students and teachers who supported this year’s poster contest! We had a total of 49 entries and lots of good contenders! It was certainly a difficult decision to narrow them down to the top 3.

This year’s winners are as follows:

  • 1st Place ($75) – Kylie Foley, Yough Glades Elementary
  • 2nd Place ($50) – Ayla Younkin, Calvary Christian Academy
  • 3rd Place ($25) – Lane Miller, Yough Glades Elementary

Kylie’s poster will advance to the state contest later this month. All 3 county-level winners will be invited to an Arbor Day celebration to be recognized for their work and receive their prizes
