Garrett 250 Buntings Available

As Garrett County prepares to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Garrett 250 organizers, in partnership with the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, are encouraging residents and businesses to show their patriotic spirit with decorative Garrett 250 Celebration Buntings.

Each commemorative set is available for $100 and includes a Garrett 250 logo center banner flag along with two red, white, and blue buntings designed to help create a festive and unified look throughout the community.

Funds raised through the bunting sales help support and celebrate the Garrett 250 Birthday Bash, scheduled for Saturday, July 18 at the Garrett County Fairgrounds, along with other America 250-focused activities and events taking place across Garrett County throughout the year.

Inspired by the community pride and excitement generated during past countywide celebrations such as Deep Creek Lake’s Centennial, organizers hope the buntings will help create a welcoming atmosphere for both residents and visitors during this once-in-a-generation milestone.

Buntings may be purchased through the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
