Fueling Extraordinary Performances in 2027 Starts Today

Dear Friend of StageWEST,

As we reflect on 2026, one thing is clear: the power of live performing arts to bring Garrett County together has never been stronger.

Because of your passion and support, StageWEST delivered a 2026 season rich in diverse music, powerful storytelling, and unforgettable shared moments. Together, we experienced:

  • Bold Brass & High Energy: The unforgettable, resonant opening performance by the River City Brass Band, and the high-octane celebration of ABBA’s timeless hits in Mamma Mania!
  • Intimate Storytelling: The Joshua Espinoza Trio, whose genre-blending performance seamlessly wove jazz, soul, and narrative.
  • A Moving Commemoration: The Washington Symphony Orchestra’s presentation of Gardens of Stone—a poignant tribute of music, poetry, and imagery honoring America’s 250th anniversary.

Beyond the stage, your support directly shaped our community’s future. Through three dedicated student performances this season, nearly 200 local students were introduced to the magic of live theater and music. Additionally, by offering free admission for youth with a paying adult, we ensure that every child in Garrett County has the opportunity to discover, learn, and be inspired.

Why Your Support Matters Today

Ticket sales cover only a fraction of what it takes to bring professional artists, transport full orchestras, and run essential arts education programming. Your year-end donation bridges that essential gap, keeping ticket prices accessible and our stage full.

As you plan your year-end charitable giving, you can direct your investment to where it matters most to you:

  • The StageWEST General Operating Fund: Supports core artist fees, educational outreach, marketing, and the essential lodging and meals that allow traveling performers to make Garrett County their temporary home.
  • The Paul Weiler Concertmasters Society: Directly funds our marquee annual live symphony orchestra performance. As the only organization in Garrett County equipped to host a full symphonic orchestra, StageWEST provides a rare cultural experience right in your backyard—saving residents hours of travel.
  • The StageWEST Arts Education Student Access Fund: Directly supports student matinees, school outreach, and transportation subsidies—such as covering school busing expenses to bring students to the Performing Arts Center. Your support helps fulfill our commitment to local students (public, private and homeschooled), providing live cultural experiences and arts curriculum at no cost to schools or families
