I am sorry to report a house fire in Friendsville overnight on Wednesday. The investigation notice from the State Fire Marshall indicated it likely started in the laundry room, in the dryer. I share this because I have heard of a number of dryer fires or “near-fires” in the past. We all need to check the lint filters in our respective dryers.
