This pass grants unlimited day-use entry to state parks, unlimited boat launching, and concessions and boat rental discounts!

Also, MD DNR shares the latest fishing report – “Fishing for walleye and yellow perch is good at Deep Creek Lake, along the steeper rocky shorelines and the remaining deep grass. Drifting minnows or fishing them under a slip bobber is a good way to target those species. Casting small crankbaits is a good way to fish for walleye in the evening hours in these same areas…”

Don’t forget the Festival of Trees today and tomorrow at the Garrett County Fairgrounds!

Congratulations are due to Mike’s wife, Jean, and the women from the Civic Club for earning first place for their Festival of Trees entry: “Wooden it be Lovely?” .. stop by and see it!
