This Saturday in nearby Cumberland, MD, Mountainside Baroque will present the Fortepiano Duo, composed of Cynthia Roberts, world-renowned baroque violinist, and Yiheng Yang, fortepiano, in a dynamic, virtuosic performance entitled “Mozart to Beethoven.” This joyful performance features the largest ensemble staged thus far by Mountainside Baroque–totaling nearly 50 performers! In return to the high Baroque, the program of festive and seasonally appropriate sacred and secular music of Johann Sebastian Bach is made especially jubilant by the inclusion of silvery Baroque trumpets and timpani.
