The weather today will be cloudy with a high near 73 and a low around 63. A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Saturday will be mostly cloudy then gradually becoming sunny with a high near 75 and a low around 51. Sunday will be sunny with a high near 69 and a low around 49.

There have been peaceful protests centering on the Black Lives Matter movement here locally. This past week they were gathered on the corner of Oak and 3rd Street in Oakland. I’m not sure who is organizing the effort but I’ve heard that folks have been welcomed; if you see them stop by and participate if you’re inclined.
