The Ruth Enlow Library will host a talk on “Making Sense of It All: Thinking Clearly in the Information Age” on Wednesday, February 7th, from 6:00pm – 7:30pm at the Oakland Library. Presented by Director Thomas Vose, this talk will feature topics such as how our brains fail us, how to win an argument, pushing our buttons, and fake versus real. “Flu season is here in full, and there is literally no geographic area in the continental United States that isn’t seeing cases,” says Lance Rhodes, Director of Pharmacy at GRMC. “The flu strains this year seem to be particularly virulent. If you haven’t gotten a flu vaccine, you should probably consider doing so. It can make a significant difference in maintaining your health throughout the winter.” GRMC also suggests a number of items to help keep you healthy.
