Happy New Year!

The weather today will be mostly cloudy. A slight chance of showers in the afternoon—highs in the mid 50s and a low of 47. Southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain is 20%. Saturday will be raining, mainly in the evening—lows in the lower 40s and a high of 57. Southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain is 90%. Sunday will be raining—highs in the lower 50s and a low of 18. Temperature falls into the upper 30s in the afternoon. Chance of rain is 90%.

As of tomorrow, Hardesty’s Hardware in Grantsbville will be known as Chestnut Ridge Home and Hardware. You will continue to see the familiar faces and quality products that have always been a part of your local shopping experience.

The county is recycling Christmas Trees and there are also several collection sites to reuse the trees as fish habitat at Jennings Randolph Lake. Drop off locations are Jennings Randolph Lake, Town of Kitzmiller, Town of Keyser, and Town of Westernport. For more information, call the park office during normal business hours at 304-355-2346.
