The Garrett County Health Department announced yesterday that there have been two additional COVID-19 cases reported in Garrett County. The current total is 63 and Garrett County’s 7-day positivity rate is 0.5%. Three persons are currently isolating due to COVID-19 positive tests.
There is a food giveaway today in Grantsville and the Little Yough Family Flicks happens tonight. The Mountain Fresh Farmer’s market is tomorrow and Black Beat is having Wing Night on Monday evening. Of course, each of these events have taken precautions for COVID-19.
One note of clarification from the Community Trust Foundation regarding the upcoming Humanitarian award presentation: “Since its inception, the WGW event has raised over $800,000 for over 75 different youth-related activities.”
There is a virtual 5k Run / Walk to benefit homeless veterans taking place on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2020. What a great way to take advantage of Deep Creek’s great outdoors (even in November!)
