What a sweet start to our women’s+ casual trail ride series!

Eight of us showed up for the first warm weather ride of the season, and it couldn’t have been a better way to kick things off. Our friend surprised us with decorate-your-own Easter egg cookies from Jaws Cookie Co., which might just be the best post-ride treat we’ve had so far!

We took a slightly “wrong way” route — or maybe we’ll just call it the scenic uphill version — climbing up orange to start. It was one of those climbs that makes you question your choices halfway through, but feel like a rockstar once you reach the top. And with a crew like this? It was all smiles, support, and shared snacks.

This ride was all about easing into the season. We reviewed a few basic bike set-up items, stopped to breathe (and laugh), and took way too many pictures of bikes against trees — as one does. Nobody got left behind, everyone got to ride their own pace, and we cheered each other on the whole way.

If you missed it — don’t worry. This was just the first of many. Whether you’re brand new to mountain biking or just want to ride with a chill group of women+ who love the woods, these rides are for you.

Bring your bike, helmet, and water — and come ride with us. We’re building a crew that lifts each other up one trail at a time.
