Extras Needed for Feature Film “Hershey” 🍫

HERSHEY, a major motion picture of chocolate pioneer Milton Hershey and his beloved wife Catherine, ‘Kitty’, is officially set for production beginning in May 2025 in Pittsburgh, PA, and the surrounding areas!

⭐️ DIRECTED BY MARK WATERS (Mean Girls, Spiderwick Chronicles, Mr. Popper’s Penguins) and STARRING FINN WITTROCK (The Big Short, Don’t Move, American Horror Story) and ALEXANDRA DADDARIO (The White Lotus, True Detective, San Andreas)

HERSHEY is a must-see movie for chocolate lovers and fans alike. This movie reveals how a man who failed in business multiple times before creating an iconic chocolate empire chose to channel his success into a legacy of education and community that continues to transform lives today.

The HERSHEY movie is set to release in 2026, aligning with America’s 250th anniversary. A Dandelion Media production in partnership with the Hershey Entities and in association with Aloe Entertainment, with UTA Independent Film Group representing worldwide rights.

CASTING WILL BE LOOKING FOR TONS OF BACKGROUND OF ALL AGES to portray an array of characters from the late 1800s-early 1900s for filming between May 12-June 27(No filming on Saturdays or Sundays)!

🌟IMPORTANT NOTES FOR EVERYONE:

• Pays $225 for a 12-hour guarantee. Expect 12-14 hr. shoot days. Over time, after 12 hrs. *Hours for Minors are shorter.
• Should have good flexibility to work several days between May 12-June 27 (No Saturdays or Sundays). Filming usually begins early morning.
• Must have transportation since some of the locations are an hour outside of Pittsburgh.
• Interior and Exterior shoots in the Spring/Summer.
• Mandatory Costume Fitting and Hair and Makeup consult prior to your shoot date. Location in the West Mifflin, PA area. Pays $50 for 2 hrs. or less.
• Minors ages 17 years and younger will need one Guardian present at all times who is 18+.

LADIES: 👒

• Must have natural hair colors: Brunette, Black, Auburn, Blondes, Grey, Salt and Pepper, White, etc.
• Hair that is chin-length or longer.
• NO false eyelashes for the shoot.
• NO gel or acrylic nails for the shoot.
• NO Neck, Chest, Hand, or Facial Tattoos.
• Must be willing to wear a Corset because of the time period. Clothing was in multiple layers.
• Must be able to remove prescription glasses for filming.

**Open to all sizes, but major need for waists 29 and under for the period clothing, which runs small

GENTLEMEN: 🎩

• NO Shaved Heads (But if you start growing it out right now, we can get you in later in the schedule!).
• Must have natural hair colors: Brunette, Black, Auburn, Blondes, Grey, Salt and Pepper, White, etc.
• Willingness to start growing hair, sideburns, and facial hair, and have it trimmed to fit the time period.
• NO Neck, Chest, Hand, or Facial Tattoos.
• Will be dressed in period clothing, which was often multiple layers.
• Must be able to remove prescription glasses for filming.

**Open to all sizes, but major need for suit sizes 44 and under for the period clothing, which runs small

1. MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD CHEST-UP, WAIST-UP, AND FULL-LENGTH PHOTO TO UPLOAD. In front of a wall, in good lighting with no hats/bandanas or sunglasses, is preferable. If you have glasses, you should take the pictures without them since they wouldn’t be period-appropriate.
2. You should have all of your correct wardrobe measurements, as they are extremely important for this production because of the period clothing. Tips and Video links on how to take proper measurements are in the size section once you select “gender to play” if you need some help. A SOFT MEASURING TAPE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND HERE!
