This year the event will be held on October 9th, 2026 at Southern Garrett High School in Oakland, Maryland. Joining us as master of ceremonies again this year is husband and wife team, Steve and Katie Smith, from the Steve Smith Band! At the end of the contests, we welcome all contestants to return to the stage for a Jam Session with Steve! Applications must be received by Saturday, September 19th to be printed in the event program. Applicants may register at the door the night of the competition, up until 5:30pm. The competition begins at 6:00 pm. Check-in and registration for participants is from 5:00-5:30pm. The doors open for spectators at 5pm. Registration forms may be mailed to Tracy Park, 15 S. Mythology meets modern tradition as we gather to pay respects to Ullr, the Norse god of winter, in anticipation of another great season of skiing and snowboarding. DJ starts at 6pm, with a grand bonfire and solo stoves burning all night. This is a family friendly, all ages event. There is no cover charge, and parking is free. The Beer Garden will be open on the deck for spectators, along with the bar inside.
