Town of Friendsville Fall Leaf Pick-Up

The Town of Friendsville will conduct its Fall Leaf Pick-Up starting Monday, September 28, through Monday, November 23, 2026. Please follow these collection guidelines: Place all leaves at the edge of your property along the roadway in a pile, not a row. Ensure piles are free of sticks, branches, flowers, and other debris. Note that collection dates are weather permitting. Help keep Friendsville clean and beautiful this autumn!

Downtown Oakland Oakland

Head to Downtown Oakland for the Autumn Glory Festival Car Show hosted by the Mountain Top Cruisers from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. As the biggest car show in Garrett County, the event features antique cars, street rods, classics, trucks, motorcycles, and tractors. Spectator admission is free, while vehicle registration is $20 and includes a T-shirt and dash plaque for the first 300 entrants.
