The members of the Garett County Republican Women’s Club continued their support of the Dove Center with donations collected at the Club’s annual Christmas party. Many items were selected from the “Needs List” provided by the Dove Center.
Pictured left to right are Club members Lisa Thayer Welch and Barbara Chesley with Heather Hanline, Executive Director of the Dove Center. Chesley, who spearheads the annual effort, remarked, “I am so thrilled with the response of the Republican women this year. Packing my car with all of these bags just gave me goosebumps.” Henline thanked the Club, saying, “We are so lucky to have organizations like this in Garrett County who continually respond to our needs.”
