Deep Creek Property Owners’ Association Message

As a service to the Property Owners’ Association of Deep Creek Lake (POA), the Deep Creek Watershed Foundation is pleased to provide this message from the POA President, Bob Sutton, as well as this informative brochure for your information.

“The Deep Creek Policy Review Board was requested by the Natural Resources Police to come up with ideas to reduce wake issues experienced on Deep Creek Lake. A committee was formed and decided that education was the first step in attempting to solve the problem. It was then decided to publish a trifold with information on boat wakes and distribute it to dock holders, POA members, and distribute it at marinas and other businesses around the lake. Attached is the brochure that is being distributed this spring. Thanks go to Karen Myers and Stacy Carlson for their help in getting this done.”
