One of the community activities performed by Deep Creek Lake Lions Club is to assist the Northern High School Athletic Boosters Club in working the concession stand during Northern High School’s varsity football games. During the Friday, October 20, 2023, game with Allegany High School, Tommy Wenzel, James Hodges, Wanda Carpenter, and Barb Law representing Deep Creek lake Lions Club helped work the concession stand along with Northern High Schools Athletic Booster Club.
