Nutrient management planning is underway as farmers prepare for the 2026 growing season. Maryland law requires qualifying farmers to follow updated plans before applying nutrients, and so far, plans have been completed for 80 Garrett County farmers covering 10,809 acres.

Women’s+ group trail rides with Deep Creek Adventure Bureau begin March 26 and continue every Thursday in April. Meet at The Dip at 5:15 PM for a relaxed ride focused on building skills and connecting with other riders.
