The Garrett County Public Schools 2026-27 calendar was approved on January 13 and is available on the Public Relations page under GCPS Calendars. School starts August 31, 2026, and ends June 3, 2027, with professional development days, early dismissal on January 28, and a Parent-Teacher Conference on February 1. Holidays include major national holidays plus October 9, November 3 & 30, and March 29. Make-up days are February 15, March 29, and June 4, with vacations recommended after June 11.
