The Maryland Comptroller offers small business tax guidance through Maryland Tax Connect, a self-service online portal where businesses can file and pay taxes, manage accounts, register a business, apply for or renew licenses, and access webinars, video tutorials, and step-by-step user guides from any device.

Based on angler feedback, the Maryland Department of Natural Resources is updating its put-and-take trout stocking program for spring 2026, with changes to timing, frequency, and allocations aimed at improving catch and opportunity. The department plans to stock about 240,000 adult trout, a 26 percent increase over last year, with monthly schedules and daily stocking reports available on the Trout Stocking webpage.
