The Deep Creek Farmers Market will be back for Autumn Glory Weekend! After a very successful opening season, the Deep Creek Farmers Market is pleased to announce a pop-up market during Autumn Glory weekend. The market will take place in the same location as the main season, Parking Lot A at Garrett College, 687 Mosser Road, McHenry, MD, from 12-4pm on October 16th, 2022.
Created to serve all Garrett County residents and visitors alike, the Deep Creek Farmers Market is a community event that promotes a wholesome, social gathering place in our area showcasing our rich agricultural heritage, local craftspersons, and unique small businesses. Founded by an all-female group of Garrett County residents seeking to increase access to healthy, locally grown produce and products, this market aims to grow, nourish, and inspire community. We create a space for interaction between the consumer and the producer providing opportunities to educate consumers about local agriculture.
This Deep Creek Farmers Market pop-up will feature nearly 20 vendors who will be offering a variety of goods including vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, flowers, baked goods, personal care products, and prepared food items. In addition, there will be live music for the entirety, along with several children’s activities including face painting and sidewalk chalk. The Deep Creek Farmers Market is not only a great place to purchase local produce and goods, but it is also a place to enjoy the day with family and friends.
