The weather today will be mostly sunny, with highs around 60 and a low of 51. Southeast winds of around 5 to 10 mph, becoming southwest, with gusts up to 20 mph in the afternoon.

I captured this image yesterday…. I was looking for an aurora borealis (because of the geomagnetic forecast) but someone explained to me that a SAR arc is still geomagnetic activity but not an aurora borealis.

As winter weather may soon affect school schedules, the Maintenance, Facilities, Operations, and Transportation Department of the Garrett County Public School System would like to remind parents and the community of important winter operations information to ensure student safety.
