The weather today will be numerous showers, with highs in the lower 50s and a low of 31. Southeast winds of around 5 to 10 mph, becoming west around 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 70%.

The State of Maryland and the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs are honored to offer our veterans, National Guard, Reservists, and their eligible dependents a final resting place at one of five state veterans cemeteries located throughout Maryland. For the Cemetery Program, a Pre-interment application may be completed to indicate your request to be buried in one of the state’s Veteran cemeteries.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is now accepting entries for its annual photo contest. Photographers may submit three entries for $10 with additional entries (no limit) at $3 each until 5:00 PM on August 1.
