Friday, February 7, Saturday, February 8, and Sunday, February 9, 2025: The weather today will be mostly sunny and windy, with highs in the upper 30s. West winds will range from 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph, decreasing to 40 mph in the afternoon. Saturday will be cloudy, with a chance of snow and freezing rain in the morning, transitioning to freezing rain and rain in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-30s, with southeast winds at 10 to 15 mph and gusts up to 30 mph in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 90%. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with highs in the mid-30s.

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2025 Peggy Jamison Heritage Preservation Award, honoring those committed to preserving the county’s heritage. The award will be presented at the Annual Membership Meeting & Dinner on June 5, 2025.
