Saturday will snow, mainly in the morning, with highs in the mid-30s and a low of 29. West winds of around 15 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. The chance of snow is 80%. Sunday will be mostly cloudy, with a chance of snow and rain showers – highs in the upper 30s and a low of 29. The chance of precipitation is 40%.

The Garrett County Health Department’s Environmental Health Office cautions everyone about the potential for home heating appliances to emit dangerous carbon monoxide gas.

Remember to bring water and gear for the cold, including gloves, neck gaiters, hot hands, and hats. The hike will cover approximately 2 miles with less than a 200-foot elevation change.
