Activities run all afternoon, and just before the event wraps up, look skyward at 9:30 pm for a dazzling light display that bridges a century of memories with tomorrow’s technology.
The Firefly Drone Show will now feature 300 illuminated drones, choreographed to music and programmed with animations that celebrate Deep Creek Lake’s history and community spirit. Watch these lights form everything from simple shapes to more complex symbols, all moving in sync above the fairgrounds.
This drone show is eco-friendly with no smoke or debris, silent and smooth choreography and a modern twist on classic fireworks, without the noise or pollutants that is a first for the Deep Creek Lake area!
