DCL Waterfowl Management Hunt

The 2024 Deep Creek Lake Waterfowl Management Hunt is taking place November 23rd-29th. This management hunt is a combined effort between the Maryland Park Service (Deep Creek Lake NRMA) and Wildlife and Heritage. One site is located near the kayak launch in Deep Creek Lake State Park’s Day Use area. You may see the orange sign indicating the hunting zone if you are walking through the park this week. You may also see a hunting blind or waterfowl decoys out.

The hunt only takes place over the water itself.

Please be courteous to those hunting while you are out enjoying the park this week! Questions may be directed to 301-387-4112.
