Congratulations to GCDCC Student Member, Cadence Natividad, for placing third today in the state American Legion Oratorical Contest. She gave an impressive 10-minute oration on the importance of Jury Duty and a 5-minute oration on the US Constitution’s 16th Amendment.
Her performance is even more impressive given that she is a freshman at SGHS and was competing against all high school students (including upper-level students). We have no doubt that she will be back better than ever next year! And congratulations to her proud parents, Erin-Ruth and Miguel, who have been her fiercest supporters. Cadence, you are amazing!!
