On Monday, April 8, 2024, Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS) students will be dismissed three (3) hours early. This schedule change is due to the timing of the solar eclipse and the students’ normal dismissal time.
Additionally, students will be dismissed three (3) hours early on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, for staff development in the afternoon. GCPS will be conducting a variety of county-based staff development opportunities.
