Brookside Health & Wellness Relocates Clinic to Garrett Highway

Brookside Health & Wellness, Rachel Friend-Lantz, CRNP, a nurse-managed primary health care center, has announced an office relocation to meet the needs of the practice’s rapid growth.

Rachel Friend-Lantz, CRNP, has relocated her primary care medical office from the Thayer Center to 14689 Garrett Highway in Oakland, MD. Brookside’s expanded office space is now located on the lower level of the newly constructed log office building within the 219 Business Center.

Appointments are currently being taken at the 14689 Garrett Highway location.

This move has allowed for an increased number of patient examination rooms, space for additional diagnostic equipment, and additional integrative services to serve the practice’s growing patient base.

Patients can visit Brookside Health and Wellness to receive a variety of primary health care services such as medical evaluations, laboratory services, specialty care referrals, immunizations, and hearing and vision testing. Patients can also schedule yearly, DOT/ CDL, employment, and sports physicals at Brookside.

Brookside specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of both acute illnesses and chronic health conditions and offers on site diagnostics including rapid strep, influenza, and COVID testing.

“It has been an honor to care for members of my community,” said Rachel Friend-Lantz, CRNP. “As health care continues to evolve, I look forward to this new endeavor and believe our new office location will provide us with the opportunity to continue to break down barriers and improve our community’s access to high quality, integrative, primary health care.”
