Broad Ford Elementary’s Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is thrilled to host the first annual Broad Ford Bobcat Color Run. This exciting event will take place on June 8, 2024 at the Glades Town Park in Oakland. Community members of all ages are invited to enjoy a vibrant and colorful 5K run or walk, kids’ crafts, face painting, and food vendors. The event is open for participants to run or walk at their own pace so all families and children can participate.
Registration on the day of the event will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the “open” run from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Participants can choose from two registration options: $10 for entry only or $25 for entry plus an event t-shirt.

Funds raised from the Color Run event will directly support the Broad Ford PTO in its continued efforts to support the elementary students’ educational experiences. This past year, the PTO has funded numerous initiatives, including the Fall Fest with activities like trunk or treat and a silent auction, a Santa’s workshop with affordable gifts and free family activities, two student dances with refreshments, essential supplies for classrooms, Mother’s Day projects for fifth graders, and all the exciting activities for the upcoming field day.
