Boat Auction supports Deep Creek Lake Lions Club Projects

The Deep Creek Lake Lions Club’s annual boat auction was held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at McHenry Community Park. The proceeds from the boat auction help fund the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club’s projects, including the blind ski program, the blind camping program, maintenance of the McHenry Community Park, including the dog park, and other community service programs. The auction was a huge success due to the boats and other items donated for the auction. A special thanks to Dana Dudley, auctioneer, for donating her time.

The auction included snowmobiles, jet skis, sailboats, canoes, kayaks, pontoon boats, ski boats, and much more. The Deep Creek Lake Lions Club is already accepting donations for next year’s auction. Mike O’Brien, president of Deep Creek Lake Lions Club, states that “If you would like to donate an item, the club will come pick up the recreational equipment and help you get the best deduction on your taxes. The proceeds from the auction help fund many programs of Deep Creek Lake Lions Club.”

For more information on how to donate your recreational equipment or get information on the programs of Deep Creek Lake Lions Club, visit their website at https:/deepcreeklions.org or email them at DCLLIONS@gmail.com.
