A portion of sales from a new children’s book will be contributed to HART for Animals Inc. in Accident. The book is about Bentley, one of the competitors in the “Skyhoundz” Classic World Canine Disc Championship Series held in Accident in July. You may have seen Bentley at the Skyhoundz Disc Dog Championship with his human dad, Frank Montgomery.
GiGi Tindall announces her return to the publishing scene with the release of ”Adventures of Bella and Aubrey: Bentley, the Dog Nobody Wanted.” Published by LifeRich Publishing, the book is the heart warming story of a dog’s struggle to find his forever home.
A Jack Russell mixed-breed dog, Bentley is a frightened puppy that runs away because he is unwanted. He continues to believe through his struggles that someplace, someone will give him his forever home. He struggles to learn to be a disc dog because he has difficulty remembering, but he is a great jumper. Eventually, his determination pays off, and he becomes a world-champion disc dog.
“This book will appeal to anyone who has been determined to overcome struggles to achieve their goals,” Tindall said. “It is a good book for all ages. Many tips for training your dog are included in the book. It is inspiring to dog lovers to know that there are kind people who adopt instead of buy.” She noted that she wants readers to learn from the book that kindness to people and animals is important. “Each person faces struggles, but Bentley did not give up, and his courage will encourage others,” Tindall said.
The book is available here on Amazon and at Barnes & Noble stores.
