1st Place: Garrett County

The Maryland Forest Service accepted entries for the 2019 Arbor Day Poster Contest. Previously selected winners from each participating county were then forwarded for judging by the Maryland Urban and Community Forest Committee.

 

Lydia Secrist of Garrett County won first place honors, with a prize of 15 trees to her school for planting.

 

The Arbor Day Poster Contest is hosted annually by the department's Tree-Mendous Maryland Program.
