The Accident Library invites community members to join their needlework sewing circle! They meet every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM. All age groups and skill levels are welcome, so participants can meet other sewing enthusiasts and make new friends, stitch by stitch. Create Your Own Mosaic Garden Rock with Bella Art Mosaics

Create your own garden rock! Choose your colors from a variety of tiles and glass supplied for Create Your Own Mosaic Garden Rock with Bella Art Mosaics on May 24 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM! Feel free to bring your own ideas, patterns, or drawings, and any special materials you'd like to include. All materials will be supplied and are included in the cost of the class. You will need to grout your stone at least 24 hours later (or the next day) to allow the glue to fully dry overnight. Class is open to participants aged 12 and up. Younger students may be considered on a case-by-case basis—please message with any inquiries. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If the instructor cancels the class, a full refund will be given. If attendance is low, the class may be canceled, and tickets will be fully refunded. If you need to cancel prior to 7 days before the class, a refund minus $5 will be issued. Bomber Down!

New Germany Lake House 403 McAndrews Hill Road, Grantsville

Retired Park Ranger Rick Lewis will present the true story of a B-52 bomber that crashed in a snowstorm on Big Savage Mountain in 1964. Many local residents took part in the massive search for the plane and its crew, four of whom had ejected before the crash. The program will take place on May 24 at 7:00 PM at the New Germany Lake House, where artifacts will be available to view—including one of the actual ejection seats from the aircraft.
