Check out the schedule for the 2024 Nourishing Neighbors Mobile Market & Resource Exchanges! Food will be distributed beginning at 11:00 AM on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 100 boxes. To receive a box, participants will be asked to complete a screener. Our Outreach Team, along with other Community Partners, will be joining the exchanges to provide health education and connect individuals to needed resources. The Deep Creek Farmers Market is back for another summer of local fun, food, crafts, and music in 2024! The market will feature local produce, meats, eggs, honey, baked goods, flowers, prepared food, artisan crafts & more. Hart 2 Hart will be performing from 3;00 PM - 6:00 PM! Bring a chair or blanket for the lawn. Bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. The campus has a strict no-alcohol policy. Join Ranger Mac for a guided hike along the moderately challenging 4.5-mile Lonacona Loop trail. Participants will catch the first foliage changes of fall as they traverse a mixed hardwood forest on Allegany County's highest mountain, and learn to identify many common tree species in our region. Please bring your own water and comfortable hiking shoes. Pets on a leash are welcome.
