After nearly a decade, the Special Olympics Maryland (SOMD) Winter Games return to Wisp Resort!
Join Wisp Resort from Sunday, February 26th, 2023 to Tuesday, February 28th, 2023 to watch almost 200 Special Olympic Maryland Athletes, from across the state, in showcasing their skills and athletic ability in various alpine and snowshoeing events.
Special events include:
- Alpine – Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Slalom, Giant Slalom, Glide & Super G
- Snowshoeing – 25m, 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1600m races as well as 4x100m, 4x200m, and 4x400m relay races
