Introduction to Ice Safety and Ice Fishing

Join Ranger Brian for this free, one-hour beginner’s program exploring the basic gear and safety considerations needed for a safe ice fishing adventure. If conditions allow, a demonstration will be conducted on New Germany Lake. Dress for cold weather including boots, gloves, hats, snow pants, and coats. If you have any of your own ice fishing gear, please feel free to bring that as well. A limited supply of gear will be available to try.
