2025 Garrett County Celtic Festival & Highland Games

Celebrating Celtic cultures in Appalachia since 1988! Enjoy an entire day of entertainment across multiple stages in the riverside Friendsville Community Park, Friendsville, MD.

 Performances from Seán Heely Celtic Band, Aurora Celtic, Clann Redmond, Teelin School of Irish Dance, and MUCH more music, dance, and roving pipes and drum bands.

 The Highland Games are a centerpiece, with athletes competing all day long on the village green. Learn from living history interpretations, cultural presentations, and over a dozen Clans and Societies.

 Experience Celtic Arts first-hand in many interactive art, dance, and music workshops — included in admission!

The Rainbow’s End children’s area has so activities for the wee bairns, including their own Highland Games, storytelling, arts and crafts, and collaborative play. All free for kids 12 and under.
