Ridgeview Valley held their grand opening last month and now has a model home to tour, as well as a preview center for more information about the new community.

Owners of Ridgeview Valley refaced their building (the old Tips Up location) along Sang Run Road for some off-site advertising.

  Another strip of retail locations are being built across from the Sorellee's location at the Rt. 219/Sand Flat Road intersection.  A Fastenal store will be one of the occupants of the new building.

Will O' the Wisp added a new bar area to their Four Seasons Dining Room.

The custard stand in Oakland, along with the two apartment buildings behind it will be torn down to build a new Walgreen's.  The buildings are currently still standing. 

Construction continues on the Deep Creek Marina service location. 

  The parking garage at the Deep Creek Marina service location is almost complete.

Construction continues on The Lodges at Aqua Mountain Resort.  A furnished model home is now open to tour. Fifty-seven hotel-style suite log cabins will be built as an accompaniment to a new proposed indoor waterpark and hotel called Aqua Mountain Resort. 

  Site prep has begun on the site of a new Lowe's on Rt. 219 near Oakland.  The facility is expected to be completed later this year.  A sign was placed on the site advertising 6 outparcels for lease.

  Sewer lines are being placed to reach from Oakland to the new Lowe's location and areas in between.

  A new brewpub/restaurant is being constructed on Sang Run Road, just past the Deep Creek Estates Development.   It is expected to open sometime this month.
