Your web site is
great! The only thing is you make the area sound super and are going to
attract more visitors. We like keeping this the best kept secret in
Maryland. Bigger is not always better. We love the small town
atmosphere.
We are OLD
campers that used Swallow Falls Park campground in the past. Now our most
rigorous activity is clicking the mouse. This web site brings back the old

I am a Garrett County native who misses Deep Creek Lake,
the beautiful scenery, the relaxed atmosphere, and all the charming people who
reside in our wonderful county. Being a busy first year student at Penn
State, I don't get the smell the fresh Garrett County air as much as I would
like to. I visit this web page on a weekly basis to read up on what is going on
in the utopic place I call home. The web page is excellent. It is a
credit to the area. Keep up the good work.
Your website is
GREAT. We love the coupons and the movie listings. The cam photos are SUPER.
Reading the Deep Creek Times over the internet will get us through the cold
southwestern Pennsylvania days this winter.
I am amazed with
how nice your web pages are. I've only begun to get to know the people in the
Deep Creek area. I will say, EVERYONE has been completely different (friendly,
cordial, helpful, etc.) than most folks I've met around the country in my
travels. The more I see of Deep Creek, the more I want to see.
I would like to
tell you how much I enjoy the Times. We live in PA and keep in touch with
activities at the lake through your site. I would like to suggest that you
develop a weekly or bi-weekly "hot item" update. Subjects such
as the sale of the lake or Wal-Mart can't wait for monthly updates.

vacationing in Deep Creek Lake on and off for 21 years now. My brother, cousin

certain points during the year I long to escape from the rat race of the big
city, (Baltimore), and pay a visit to the lake. Like many of your readers I hope

I was recently
surfing the net and was pleasantly surprised. I was born and raised in Garrett
County and in 1997 I moved to Roanoke, Virginia, and was married. My husband and
I drove up over Christmas of 1997 and he refused to ever drive up there in the
winter ever again. So it makes me happy to keep up on everything from former
friends businesses to the scoop in the area. Great website it really keeps me in
